"COLORFUL CONNECTIONS" - Day 7 of 30

I have this thing with circles lately, I was dreaming about lots of colorful circles and had to paint them.  Not sure what the meaning is behind circles. Or maybe they were supposed to be bubbles? The painted image area is 4 1/2" x 3, it's on a 5" x 7" white mat. Painted on 140lb Kilimanjaro paper with watercolor and gold shimmer gouache to give it some bling. To purchase click here: Arica's Art ETSY SHOP

GSPOT - Day 6 of 30

Yes I said "GSPOT". This painting was painted for a friend who just moved into her new house and painted her bedroom in blacks, whites, reds, grays, etc.. she has a circle theme going. This matches perfectly. If you turn the painting sideways it actually looks kind of like a Sumo wrestler or something. Maybe even a woman. The red spot seemed to mark the spot and my fellow artist friend Kellie Chasse helped me pick the name - all out of fun and it is for a bedroom! Cheers to a great day & thank you for putting up with my sense of humor!

This is a 4 1/2" x 3" watercolor with Pearl & Silver Gouache on a black mat & my friend Nina loved it! She also got a homemade bottle of Chilean Malbec wine from me! (Yes, I also make wine)

"FOCUSED" - Day 5 of 30

"FOCUSED" - Who doesn't like a cute fox? They are always on alert and hunting. Amazing animals and beautiful. I had a fox in my garden last fall. He was frolicking in the leaves and enjoying the afternoon sun. He looked like he was just taking a "break" from his hunt for the day. Got a couple of photos before he ran off.

This is a 5" x 7" Original Watercolor of a Fox on 300lb Kilimanjaro paper, matted on Black 8" x10" mat.

"BELGRADE MAINE MOOSE" - Day 4 of 30 - SOLD!

I had the experience of meeting a moose in my backyard in 2010. This painting is from a photo I took of the young bull moose. I was having a stare down with this fella and doing a double take because I couldn't believe he was staring at me. Had time to run and get my camera but before I could do that I was trying to get my dog inside, didn't want that encounter to happen. Luckily they did not see each other.

This is an original watercolor, 5" x 7" matted on a 8" x 10" cream mat ready for a frame. - SOLD!

Finished watercolor....
